Today Fancher Staff is taking the time to send Affirmations, a note of gratitude, to one another. This is part of our Capturing Kids' Hearts 12 days to make connections focus leading into winter break. Capturing Kids' Hearts focuses on teaching and modeling to our students who to affirm one another, as this creates a positive and caring classroom and school environment. Today we would like to AFFIRM our amazing ladies in the cafeteria who show up each day to ensure our students have breakfast & lunch. They even let Mrs. Rinke & Ms. Shiner serve lunch one day. Thank you Chieko, Becky and Connie for serving our students. We couldn't do this work without you! #FalconProud

We are focusing on 12 days of Classroom Connections as we head into winter break. Today students spent time finding what they have in common - in Snow Much in Common! One student commented, "wow I didn't realize all we had in common."

Day with the Artists 2023 was amazing! We had close to 20 local artists come to Fancher and share their talents, passions and teach our students about their craft. It was such a engaging and fun filled day learning about dance, digital drawing, improv, leather-making, photography, paper making, clay, storytelling, instrumental, beading, steel drum and more. Thank you to Art Reach for coordinating this event, local artists for sharing their time and passion, our amazing Fancher Specials team and staff for scheduling and making sure the day ran smoothly. #FalconProud #OP

Some Fancher Falcons used their dojo points they've been saving up to purchase an extra recess from our School Store with the CMU Women's Soccer Team. They had a blast playing 4 square, basketball, and of course playing soccer! The kids did not take it easy on the team, and brought their best footwork and moves. Final score Falcons 8 - CMU 7! Thanks ladies for coming we had fun.

FANCHER Family School Climate Survey 2023-2024
We want to hear about your experiences with your child’s education that includes the areas of learning, school safety, interpersonal relationships, as well as your attitudes about the school environment and your personal involvement in school.
All your responses are completely anonymous. We have no way to connect you to your answers, and results will only be reported as group responses. As you respond to each item, think about your own personal experiences as a parent or caregiver at your child’s school.
If you have children that attend more than one building, please take a separate survey for each building that you have students in.
This survey should take approximately 10 minutes and should be completed by November 21st.
Thank you for your time and participation!
