Our state fire Marshall came to speak with second graders today. He read some books and discussed fire safety. If you are in need of a smoke detector, you can let your child’s teacher know or the Mt. Pleasant Fire Department and they will get you what you need for free and/or install them for you!

Attached is the flyer for My Michigan’s mobile food distribution that takes place on September 29th, 2023.
Location: 4851 East Pickard Road, Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858
Time: cars can start to line up at 9am
Details:
Mobile distributions are for anyone in need of food
Identification is NOT REQUIRED (name and address of residency)
Someone else may pick up food if resident is unable
Drivers and passengers are required to stay in vehicles for registration and food distribution
Food will be placed in trunk/hatchback
Restrooms WILL NOT be available
If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home and arrange for someone to pick up food for you
