Summer Camps
Registration for 2022 Summer Camps Begins Monday, April 4, 2022.
The City of Mt. Pleasant Parks and Recreation is excited to announce the return of PEAK Summer Programming!
PEAK Summer Camps and School’s Out Daycamps are open to residents of the City of Mt. Pleasant and its surrounding area age 5 (who turned five on or before December 1st, 2021) who have completed developmental kindergarten through sixth grade. Campers will spend their summer days laughing and learning as they engage in hands-on lessons, enrichment activities, physical activities and games and weekly field trips.
Registration for both programs will begin on Monday April 4th, at 8 a.m. and must be done in person at City Hall. Enrollments will be taken on a first come, first served basis, and registration will close once all available spots are filled. Any enrollments received after capacity is reached will be placed on a waitlist and may be added in the event we are able to increase our camp capacity.
Below you will find our Summer 2022 Program Brochure, which includes information for both our Summer Daycamps and Six-week Summer Camp, as well as the registration form for both camps and the required parent packet. If your student already attends PEAK After School, there is no need to fill out another copy of the parent packet.
You will also find information on our newly expanded PEAK scholarship rate qualifications that will begin for our Summer 2022 programs. PEAK was able to secure additional funding through the State’s Childcare Stabilization Grant, which allowed the City to expand the eligibility requirements for its PEAK scholarship program and allow more families to benefit from lower program rates. If you would like to apply, please fill out the scholarship form below and return it to our City Hall office along with one of the accepted proof of income documents listed on the form.”
