After School Peak

PEAK After School keeps schools open until 6 p.m. on school days. Children, grades K-8, will discover the awesome benefits of education, recreation, and service learning through a variety of daily activities: sports, arts, crafts, creative expression, cultural and educational enrichments.

PEAK follows the Mt. Pleasant Public Schools calendar and is offered on full days of school. PEAK is closed on school holidays, snow days, professional development days or early dismissal, scheduled or otherwise.

Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)

PEAK participates in the CACFP to provide the best quality snacks for each child in our program. USDA's Child and Adult Care Food Program plays a vital role in improving the quality of day care and making it more affordable for many low-income families. Each day, 3.3 million children receive nutritious meals and snacks through CACFP. CACFP reaches even further to provide meals to children residing in emergency shelters, and snacks and suppers to youths participating in eligible afterschool care programs.
